The Four Fire Engine Fire Alarm and other assorted miscellanea

So, quiet day today, I'm halfway through a week of coursework hand-ins and examinations... Joy.

Having returned home from Uni today, I was on the phone to my Dad when the unmistakeable "UUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHH! UUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRH!" (my impression of the fire alarm) could be heard... Great. Traipse downstairs again, hang around outside whilst the fire engines turn up and the whole building is checked to see what triggered the alarm.

I think it was someone smoking directly under the heat sensor in their room. Clever stuff. However, wasn't I surprised when not one, not two, not three but FOUR! fire engines turned up... Had to take a few pictures, including this panorama:



Drama indeed! A drama panorama indeed. Ho ho ho. I have some pictures from the past times the fire alarm's gone off, including some quite funny ones with drunk people :D I'll have to make a small gallery I think.
