BBC For Me!

Excited today - 20 of us from our Uni course are getting the chance to have a trip around the BBC (the BBC offices in the Mailbox, here in Brum) - should be very interesting to see what goes on in there, even if there's nothing frontlines-related such as live TV or radio broadcasting going on from there.

And of course, having never grown up, whilst our lecturer was talking about it yesterday, I stuck my hand up, waited for him to finish speaking and then asked very plaintively, "can we take packed lunches?"

I'm pretty sure that, at the very least, the radio station BBC WM operates from the Mailbox, so this trip should be be both pretty fun and informative at the same time. Hell, for gratis I can't complain either way. I wonder if I can take my camera...
