Ok, so this is a long, LONG overdue update.

Hi to all you gorgeous readers out there.

All four of you, most likely :) but never mind, I'm not after Man-Booker-prizewinner levels of readership just yet.

So, the second year is now well underway, and I'm 21 (birthday was on Friday the 13th, nice). I'm fully installed as such in my student house, and things are once again trundling along.

I had a ridiculously rubbish cold in my second week, which I knew was inevitable but still hated as I missed a few days of Uni. That said, the same week, I got my new studio monitor speakers, my new laptop (YES!) and my new studio-quality headphones (HD650s) for working on my uni work (and watching films on my computer :), so life's really not all that bad.

Still short of money though, as always - hopefully I'll be able to get a job sorted out this year, because I don't want to be as short of cash this year as I was last year, and I don't want to have to go to my parents and ask for a bit of help towards the end of the academic year like I did last time (first year and managing your own finances: NOT a good combination).

I took some shots of my house and put them on this blog earlier, if you're interested in what my new house looks like. Hell, a while ago I even put up a picture from my point of view (lying on my bed) - it's panoramic, so you can see the entire room in one shot. I've since reorganised my room a bit, like, the shelving towers are against my right-hand wall as opposed to by the door, but that was always temporary. I tidied up when my friend came to visit for my 21st birthday, but the place is a tip again.

I love my messy room :D

I was meaning to update this place earlier, but hey, in case you've not noticed, I'm really, really lazy.

More coming soon, promise! Now I have a tripod for my camera, I'm going to take loads more panoramas in and around Brum, as I wanted to do last year but could never get good enough quality photos for (as I didn't have a tripod!)... So now I have a stable base for my camera, I can take photos in a circle without going wonky / up a hill / at an angle / all over the shop. More on that soon. :)

Stay safe...
